This multidisciplinary program, which strives to explicate a variety of phenomena in the geosphere (which consists of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere) in an organic, comprehensive, and historical manner, consists of six majors: Physics of the Global Environment, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Hydrospheric Material Chemistry, Geodynamics, Structural Adaption Biology, and Functional Adaption Biology.
The program is dedicated to endowing students with deep knowledge related to the geosphere from a broad perspective and the ability to undertake research activities in an autonomous manner so that they can pursue careers as professionals with an extensive academic grounding.
