Earth System Science (Master's and Doctoral Degree Programs)

This multidisciplinary program, which strives to explicate a variety of phenomena in the geosphere (which consists of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere) in an organic, comprehensive, and historical manner, consists of five majors: Physics of the Global Environment, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Hydrospheric Material Chemistry, Geodynamics, and Biological Science.

The program is dedicated to endowing students with deep knowledge related to the geosphere from a broad perspective and the ability to undertake research activities autonomously so that they can pursue careers as professionals with an extensive academic grounding.
