The Mechanical Engineering program comprises five majors: Strength of Materials, Fluid Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Manufacturing Science, and System Dynamics and Control.
Two full-time instructors coordinate instruction and research in each major.
The program is dedicated to ensuring students master basic knowledge in a broad range of mechanical engineering fields and to endowing them with a broad outlook as well as comprehensive problem-solving skills regarding engineering problems and social issues through research that closely tracks the latest science and technology.
