The Pharmaceutical Science program was established during the 2012 academic year as a four-year graduate offering based on the six-year Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences program. Pharmaceutical Science consists of two programs:Medical Pharmacy and Pharmacological Research. The Medical Pharmacy program is intended for students seeking to apply advanced pharmacological expertise in personalized medical treatment, education, medical policy formulation, translational research and technology development, and research into regulatory science. The Pharmacological Research program is designed to produce medical pharmacology researchers in new drug development and pharmacological treatment optimization, basic pharmacology educators, researchers and policymakers in health science and environmental hygiene chemistry, and R&D researchers at pharmaceutical companies.
