Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce is dedicated to preparing students to examine the changing tenor of their era from a multifaceted perspective and to contribute to their society and region by mastering basic business skills through the study of the theory of a broad range of fields, including distribution and marketing, information and services, transportation, finance and insurance, and the history of commerce.

To that end, it has established introductory courses in each of those fields.

Additionally, it offers basic seminars in which all first-year students can participate.

Once they have taken their first step as university students by establishing a foothold during their first year, students can hone their ability to examine the changing tenor of their era from a multifaceted perspective and their basic business skills by taking specialized courses, special lectures, and small-group, specialized seminars, and by participating in projects and extracurricular activities.
