Department of Health and Exercise Science

The Department of Health and Exercise Science is dedicated to endowing students with knowledge in the field of medical science in an effort to restore, maintain, and improve physical and emotional health and to prepare them to offer creative and practical guidance.

To that end, the Department offers three courses designed to accommodate students' interests and post-graduation plans by providing systematic courses that integrate the theory and practice of health, exercise, and recreation.

The Health Fitness Programmer course is for students who wish to earn qualifications related to health and exercise, while the PE Teacher course prepares students who wish to pass the Junior/Senior High School Health and PE Teacher Examination before graduating.

The Lifelong Sport Education course prepares students for a broad range of careers as sports leaders in regional society.

All reflect an effort to explore how health and exercise science can accommodate a diverse range of social needs.
