Ohori Senior High School

Ohori Senior High School has achieved an excellent academic, sports, and cultural track record in keeping with its motto of “Cheerfulness, Respect for Self and Others, Pursuit of Academic and Physical Excellence, and Progressive Principles.”

Since its founding in 1951, the school has based its approach on its founding philosophy of “Moral Education,” and it has achieved a track record of success in every area of its operations in keeping with its motto of “Cheerfulness,Respect for Self and Others,Pursuit of Academic and Physical Excellence, and Progressive Principles.” It offers three courses—the Integrated Junior-Senior High School Course, the Super Preparatory Course, and the Preparatory Course—along with a fine-grained approach to instruction that allows individual students to develop the class schedule that best suits their goals.

The school also strives to offer a distinctive private-school experience in sports, and various clubs, including ball sports, judo, and track, have competed in national tournaments. The school completed construction of a new building and gymnasium in 2010 in concert with Fukuoka University, allowing it to utilize even better-equipped educational facilities.
