A new financial support program was introduced in April 2020 to offer reductions in tuition and other fees as well as grant-based scholarships.
Students who are eligible for this new, grant-based program can apply to the University to receive a tuition reduction of up to 700,000 yen per year. Students can receive support at two-thirds and onethird benefit levels if their income is less than a certain level, even if they are not exempt from paying residence tax.
