From the 2011 to the 2014 academic years, we sent a team of volunteers to East Japan to lead in recovery efforts. During the 2016 academic year, we sent volunteers to aid in recovery efforts in Kumamoto following a large earthquake there, and in recent years weʼve offered an ongoing program of assistance to communities that have suffered the effects of torrential rain events, which have been occurring increasingly frequently.
